Robert Alan Homes has its own in-house sub-contractors. Yes, that’s right, Robert Alan Homes has its own property maintenance team, thus minimising any problems with non-secured contractors. They work for us. unlike other estate agents, we do not have a minimum spend on your property i.e. unless it is a danger to life, gas, electricity or water we do not just send a contractor to fix items. Here is how it works.
Once we have received a call from a tenant, we will dispatch one of our contractors to look at the items that have been reported. If it is deemed at that point that the item is a fault of the home then we will contact you immediately by email and advise you of this. We will also advise you of the cost of repairing the item. However, if it is deemed that this has been caused by a tenant, then the tenant will reimburse Robert Alan Homes for the works. It will not be covered by the landlord. You as a landlord will then know where you are in relation to expenditure and will have the ability to control works that are being carried out within your property.
We can take care of all the day-to-day problems that may arise, and have a team on hand that can attend to your property at short notice to resolve any emergency repairs.
